Air Conditioning and Heating Technician Training and Education

MSCA members are committed to the continual training of their employees. As such, employees benefit by updating skills and learning new skill sets. Part of the training is access to the UA’s STAR Technician Training program and the UA STAR certification exam (the only ISO 9002 and ANSI accredited technician exam).

Experienced MSCA technicians are eligible to take the UA STAR certification exam, depending on their previous experience, or obtain the necessary training to be ready for the exam. Technicians who attain their UA STAR certification are recognized as the most qualified and skilled technicians in the industry and are in even higher demand to MSCA contractors.

Technicians who became members of the UA are expected to uphold a strict Standard for Excellence policy that outlines the obligations of UA members and the signatory contractors.
